Reviews, with context

First-episode impressions · 5 sampled opinions, not a site-wide consensus.

Appreciated

Selected premiere reviewers enjoy the storybook-like art and gently unfolding everyday pace. The opening song and names that directly reflect personalities also help establish a relaxed fantasy atmosphere.

Reservations

The main barrier is the simultaneous introduction of seven leads with similar clothes and hair colors, making them hard to distinguish in episode one. Some also find the characterization overly explicit. Whether the slow opening can sustain an ensemble remains to be seen.
