The story starts here
In a world shared by humans and beast people, an impoverished, untidy cat-like character smokes, chats and idles with equally disreputable companions. Their repeated small concerns and conversations form a scruffy ensemble comedy.
- Aimless conversations and untidy routines drive the ensemble
- A mixed human and animal society frames ordinary indignities
Reviews, with context
Season impressions · 6 sampled opinions, not a site-wide consensus.
Appreciated
Sampled reviews appreciate the animation effort, songs, and unrestrained jokes, finding the bizarre characters more than a set of labels. Absurd everyday life and occasional emotional glimpses give some viewers an unexpected sense of connection.
Reservations
The main barrier is extensive gross-out and toilet humor, along with a dirty, chaotic visual feel. Even some who enjoy its inventiveness acknowledge that these elements make it less comfortable to watch.
