Reservations
These three specific premiere reactions mainly express reservations. Some find the new voices unable to convey the old characters' darker sides or their contrast between seriousness and comedy; others see the designs and characterization as aimed at children. Another review finds the opening dependent on prior-series knowledge and difficult for newcomers. This sample offers too little specific observation to identify strengths.
