Reviews, with context
First-episode impressions · 5 sampled opinions, not a site-wide consensus.
Appreciated
The sample appreciates the art and the heroine's straight-man role. Pranks and verbal retorts make the character pairing entertaining, with personality leaving a stronger opening impression than plot information alone.
Reservations
Reservations concern slow introductions, weak punchlines, and awkwardly earnest emotional direction in the premiere. When the jokes fail, gaps in the premise and plot logic become more noticeable.
