The story starts here

Masks grant power but can also bring disaster. After a war-god mask makes him lose control and kill his master and companions, the apprentice Pel sets out to destroy every mask his master created. New friends and formidable enemies force him to keep confronting what he has done.

  • The masks link supernatural power directly to its cost
  • Destroying a master's legacy gives this journey a focus on guilt and atonement
